How can I run a simple python script on a directory (scanning for python files)
I am trying to run a simple python script that can scan a directory (lets call it input) for.py files (in this example I have named this script test.py) and then run the script on those files.
The script currently is as follows (this is probably not the best way to do this, but its all I can think of, and I have tried a few others as well):

import sys
import os.path
for root, dirs, filenames in os.walk('input'):
for filename in filenames:
if filename.endswith('.py'):
filename = os.path.join(root, filename)
